You'll work directly with operational leaders across costing, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, with real opportunity to influence decisions and improve profitability.The RoleOwn monthly management reporting, turning financial and operational performance into clear commercial insightsLead product and production costing, including margin analysis, cost movements and variance analysisCoordinate budgets and forecasts, working closely with operational leaders to build realistic plansPartner with operations and supply chain to understand the financial impact of production, labour, materials, inventory and overheadsProvide analysis that helps leaders make better decisions on cost, pricing, productivity and profitabilityImprove reporting, processes and systems to give the business greater visibility over performanceAbout YouCA/CPA qualified or working towards it, with solid management accounting experienceStrong background in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysisManufacturing, industrial or another operational environment highly regardedCommercial and curious by nature, confident working directly with non-finance stakeholdersAdvanced Excel skills and strong financial systems capabilityWhether you've never left Newcastle or you're ready to come back, this is a chance to build a strong commercial finance career close to home.
