Management AccountantAED 10,500 plus medical & 2 x annual air tickets for self Our client, a Global Operations and Logistics Consultancy in Dubai is looking to expand its accounting team and hire a Management Accountant to oversee its UAE and Bahrain Subsidiaries.This is a hands-on, multi-entity role responsible for managing the full accounting cycle across several Group subsidiary companies, with exposure to management accounts, month-end and year-end close, VAT, budgeting, reporting and financial controls.Responsibilities:Manage the full accounting cycle across multiple Group entities, including AP, AR and general ledgerCreate, record and allocate customer invoices and credit notes, and post customer receiptsPerform bank reconciliations, process bank transfers and manage suspense accountsLead month-end activities including accruals, prepayments, deferred/accrued income, depreciation, fixed assets, petty cash and AP/AR reconciliationsPrepare and review management accounts and financial reportingSupport quarterly VAT/GST returns and liaise with local accountants and external advisorsCoordinate year-end audit requirements, including auditor liaison, bank confirmations and review of year-end accountsMaintain financial analytics, cost centre/area reporting and company-specific reporting requirementsSupport annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisReview and process employee expense claims and salary paymentsMaintain accurate and timely general ledger records and ensure appropriate financial controls are followedRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with 3-5 years relevant management accounting experienceSolid understanding of month-end and year-end closing processesStrong experience in management accounts and financial reportingGood knowledge of IFRSUnderstanding of tax and regulatory requirementsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills
