Dubai is a key strategic operating hub, connecting East and West and supporting the next phase of the business’s global growth across the UK, US and Asia.About the role:Supporting the Head of Finance and responsible for providing all departments with financial reporting information to perform functions at their best. This is a global role based in our Dubai office, with responsibilities extending across the wider business and not limited to UAE finance.Responsibilities:Weekly Sales and Margin performance and trend reporting to the sales team.Completion of Consolidated and single entity Management Accounts with supporting Balance Sheet, and sales and margin reconciliations.Preparation of quarterly re-forecast and annual budget of all main financial statements including cashflow. Variance analysis thereon.Liquidity reporting on cash and inventory assets as required.Regular review and reconciliation of the Balance Sheet accounts to ensure a live snapshot of the business is readily available to support business opportunities at short notice.Own balance-sheet-level inventory reconciliation to physical counts, review of stock adjustments, and investigation of variances flagged by the Bookkeeper/operations.Analyse spending data to support proficient cost control.Tax filing data preparation, review, and compliance.Year-end auditor liaison and management of audit information requests.Act as a finance business partner to other departments, supporting them with the financial information they need to operate at their best.Monthly sales commission calculations.Assist the Head of Finance with the implementation and monitoring of continuously improved finance processes and controls, including automation of tasks.Candidate requirements:Professional qualification from a globally recognised accounting body such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a management accounting, financial control or finance business partnering role.Experience in balance-sheet-level inventory accounting, including stock provisioning and variance review.Effective communication skills.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in re-prioritising workload.Flexible attitude conducive for continuous improvement.Adaptive to change with a positive outlook.
