Having achieved approximately 25% year-on-year growth for the past two years, this newly created position will work closely with the CFO & finance team to provide both management accounting expertise and commercial support across the organisation.The opportunityReporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of a broad finance remit while partnering closely with Sales and Operations to provide meaningful financial insights and support informed decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn month-end reporting, including management accounts, journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and Board reporting support.Coordinate forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling to support business planning and decision-making.Manage statutory compliance (BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT), year-end requirements and small weekly & monthly payroll of 9, liaising with external accountants and auditors as required.Business Partnering closely with Sales and Operations, providing financial insights that support commercial performance and decision-making.Take ownership of inventory accounting and identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and controls.About youWe’re looking for a hands-on Management Accountant who combines strong technical accounting capability with a commercial mindset and the confidence to engage with stakeholders outside of Finance.Ideally, you will bring:3+ years' commercial accounting experienceAccounting or Commerce degree (CA/CPA qualified or currently studying)Strong management reporting and forecasting capabilityExposure to inventory accounting and ERP environmentsAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent communication skillsWhat's on offer?-Up to $120K + super-Archerfield location with onsite parking-1 day WFH after successful completion of probation-25% YoY growth for the past two years-Newly created role in a growing business-Direct exposure to the CFO, Sales and Operations-Opportunity to influence processes and how Finance supports the businessThe client is looking to move quickly, with interviews commencing shortly.If you’re an experienced accountant looking for a broad role where you can take ownership, partner with the business and contribute to its next phase of growth, I’d be keen to hear from you.Interested?
