The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and reconciling bank and account balances. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role involves monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with audits, and providing accurate financial information to support advisory projects. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and clients, maintain organized financial records, and contribute to process improvements in the finance function.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entry preparation, and financial statement reporting.Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and performance monitoring.Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and accounts receivable management, invoicing, and reconciliation of bank and account balances.Candidates should possess skills in using accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools with attention to accuracy and detail.Candidates should possess skills in compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control practices.Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.Experience working in advisory, consulting, or professional services environments, particularly within the UAE or GCC region, is beneficial.
