The company is on a transformation journey (embracing automation and AI within the business support functions) and presents a great opportunity with promotion prospects for a qualified accountant seeking a role where they can make a genuine impact!Competitive Salary £50,000 to £55,000 Hybrid working – 3 days office/2 days WFHLocation – Worcestershire (easy access from the M5 (junction 3 to Junction 6)As Management Accountant your responsibilities will include:Responsible for monthly management accounts and business performance reporting / partneringDeveloping AI to develop high quality financial analysis and data to support business decisionsStandard cost accounting Stock accountingGross Margin AnalysisRaising journals , stock adjustments etc.Support the FC and FD with ad-hoc projects To be successful as Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountantMust have previous experience in either the manufacturing or engineering sectorCosting and Stock accounting experience is essentialHigh proficiency in Excel with a strong interest in utilising / developing AIPrevious management accounting experienceEnthusiastic and proactive approach to improving financial reporting and business insightsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy, analytical and numerical abilitiesAble to adapt to new systems, work proactively with the systems to efficiently gather data and analyse them. Good written, verbal communication.
