Over that time we’ve grown into a group of companies providing engineering, construction and consultancy services, with operations across Ireland, the UK and the US.We work on technically demanding projects in commercial, residential, data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical and biotech facilities and other high-tech environments.Our team brings together engineering, construction and commercial specialists, and our clients rely on us to solve the difficult problems on their projects.With continued growth across the group, we’re adding a Management Accountant to our finance team.Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will take responsibility for management reporting, product costing, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis, working closely with the wider business.Management Accountant - The Role:Prepare monthly management accounts and complete month-end processes.Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances and maintain accurate financial records.Provide financial analysis and variance reporting against budget and forecast.Manage project costing, margins and profitability analysis.Assist with budgeting and forecasting.Develop management reports and financial models – KPI Dashboards.Provide commercial analysis to support pricing and business decisions.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of ERP, inventory and purchasing systems.Provide sales and commercial reporting to support decision-making.Review accounts payable, receivable and payroll processes.Ensure financial records are complete and accurate.Review, develop, and improve financial procedures and systems, implementing process enhancements and automation opportunities.Assist with payroll reviews and reconciliations.Support compliance with Revenue requirements, VAT, PAYE, RCT, and Corporation Tax obligations.Management Accountant - The Person:ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified3+ years’ relevant finance or management accounting experienceStrong management accounting and financial reporting experienceExcellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookupsStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholdersCommercially minded with strong problem-solving skillsExperience working to tight month-end deadlinesDesirable:Project costing, inventory analysis experienceExperience partnering with Commercial, Sales or Operations teamsExperience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or multinational environmentsIf you’re a management accountant who wants real involvement in how a growing engineering and construction group is run, this is worth a conversation.To apply, send your CV to darren.faughnan@ross-es.com or get in touch for a confidential chat.
