Management Consultant – Retail Banking (Personal Finance)Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site)Contract Duration: 12 Months (Renewable, subject to project requirements)Industry: Banking & Financial ServicesClient: Leading Saudi BankAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Management Consultant to support a leading Saudi bank in the development, enhancement, and launch of Retail Personal Finance (PF) products and capabilities. This is a hands-on consulting role requiring strong expertise in product management, product development, digital ecosystem integration, and end-to-end delivery within the Saudi banking sector.The successful candidate will work closely with business, technology, operations, risk, legal, compliance, PMO, and external partners to deliver customer-centric lending products while ensuring full alignment with SAMA regulations and the bank's governance framework.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Retail Personal Finance products, from concept through launch and post-launch optimization. Define product vision, value proposition, customer segments, and commercial objectives. Prepare business cases, financial analysis, and product profitability assessments to support investment decisions. Design and document end-to-end customer journeys across digital and assisted channels. Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, process flows, and operating models. Work with technology teams to deliver API-enabled ecosystem integrations with internal systems and external partners. Coordinate product delivery across Business, Technology, Operations, Digital, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and PMO functions. Ensure products comply with SAMA regulations, Responsible Lending Principles, consumer protection requirements, and internal governance standards. Support product approval processes, including governance forums, management committees, and regulatory submissions where applicable. Define product features, pricing, eligibility criteria, underwriting rules, and operational processes. Participate in UAT planning, business testing, production readiness, and go-live activities. Support go-to-market (GTM) planning, including operational readiness, sales enablement, communications, and launch activities. Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend enhancements based on customer feedback and business outcomes. Prepare executive presentations, steering committee materials, and project status updates. Required ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in Retail Banking Product Management. Demonstrated experience managing Personal Finance (Consumer Lending) products within a bank. Proven track record of delivering new banking products from ideation through implementation and market launch. Experience developing API-enabled banking products and digital ecosystem integrations. Strong experience preparing business cases, product business requirements, customer journeys, operating models and product documentation Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams including Technology, Digital, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and PMO. Practical experience navigating product governance and approval processes within Saudi banks. Strong understanding of SAMA regulatory requirements applicable to Retail Banking and Consumer Finance. Previous consulting experience with leading consulting firms or financial institutions would be an advantage. Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a delivery-oriented management consultant who combines strong product management expertise with practical implementation experience.
