Management Information System Analyst

Job SummaryWe are looking for 2 highly skilled MIS professionals with strong Banking/BFSI domain experience and expertise in Power BI, Advanced Excel, Macros/VBA, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in developing MIS reports,dashboards, automation solutions, and management reports.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and automate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and dashboards.Create interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards for business and management reporting.Work extensively on Advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, advanced formulas, data analysis, and reporting.Develop and maintain Excel Macros/VBA to automate repetitive reporting and data-processing activities.Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.Perform data analysis and identify trends, gaps, and key business insights.Prepare management dashboards and presentations highlighting KPIs, performance trends, and business metrics.Handle large volumes of data and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of reports.Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across multiple sources.Collaborate with business, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.Identify opportunities for MIS/reporting automation and process improvement.Ensure adherence to reporting timelines, quality standards, and banking processes.Mandatory SkillsBanking / BFSI domain experience – MandatoryPower BI – Strong hands-on experienceAdvanced Excel – MandatoryMacros / VBA – MandatorySQL – MandatoryStrong knowledge of MIS reporting and dashboard developmentGood understanding of data analysis and visualizationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred SkillsExperience working with large datasetsKnowledge of Power Query and DAXExperience in report automation and process improvementExposure to banking operations, financial products, transactions, or banking KPIsAbility to independently manage reporting requirements from stakeholdersCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should be excellent in MIS and analytical reporting, with strong hands-on technical skills and proven Banking/BFSI domain expertise.
