Manager – Audit (Insurance)About the RoleOur client, a leading global professional services organization, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead insurance-sector audit engagements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in external auditing, financial reporting, risk assessment and regulatory compliance, along with proven experience managing client relationships and audit teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage external audit engagements for insurance companies and related financial services clients.Oversee audit planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, review and completion in accordance with applicable auditing standards.Review financial statements and assess compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Evaluate internal controls, identify audit risks and recommend improvements.Manage client relationships and communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Supervise, coach and develop audit teams while ensuring quality, deadlines and engagement budgets are met.Monitor developments in insurance accounting, financial reporting and regulatory requirements.Candidate RequirementsProfessional qualification in CA, ACCA or an equivalent accounting qualification.Significant external audit experience, preferably within a Big Four or leading professional services firm.Strong exposure to insurance-sector audits and knowledge of insurance accounting and reporting requirements.Excellent technical, analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality audit work.Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls and applicable auditing standards.
