About The RoleYou will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis,month-end reporting and supporting the set-up of business processes and control.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a finance business partner to category/business teams, providing financial insights tosupport strategic and operational decisionsOwn budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units- Track and analyze key business and financial metrics (revenue, margins, unit economics, etc.)Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, Product, Marketing, and Finance teamsDevelop and implement strong financial controls and processes for improved financial reportingand analysis to support decision-making.Prepare and present monthly financial updates to key stakeholders, providing insights onfinancial performance and trends.Who is the best fit?Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) from a tier 1 MBA college.3 –4 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or commercial finance — ideally in aconsumer internet, marketplace, services, or high-growth D2C/e-commerce businessStrong P&L ownership mindset — you should be as comfortable owning the moving pieces of aP&L as reporting on themStrong business acumen to understand the business requirementsHigh proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; ability to build clean, formula-driven models withoutrelying on manual overridesAbility to work directly with business leaders — translating financial analysis into decisions, notjust reporting numbersAbout KUKUFounded in 2018, KUKU is India’s leading storytelling platform, offering a vast digital library of audio stories, short courses, and microdramas.
