This is an opportunity to combine clinical leadership, team development, and operational excellence while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors every day.What you'll doReporting to the General Manager and CEO, you'll oversee the delivery of high-quality wellness services while fostering a collaborative, resident-focused culture.You'll:Lead, mentor, and develop the wellness team, creating an engaged, accountable, and high-performing environment.Oversee resident assessments, admissions, individualized service plans, and ongoing care coordination.Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and individualized care that promotes independence and quality of life.Support smooth resident transitions through admissions, move-ins, changes in care, and hospital discharges.Lead recruitment, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and performance management for the care team.Ensure compliance with assisted living legislation, licensing requirements, infection prevention, and organizational policies.Oversee quality assurance, incident reporting, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage departmental budgets, payroll, scheduling, and operational planning.Partner closely with leaders across the residence to create an exceptional resident experience.What you bring:We're looking for a compassionate leader who combines strong clinical knowledge with outstanding people leadership.You'll be successful if you have:Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in British Columbia.Significant leadership experience in assisted living, seniors housing, or a similar healthcare environment.Experience leading, coaching, and developing multidisciplinary teams.Strong understanding of resident assessments, care planning, and assisted living regulations.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families, physicians, and community partners.Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.A commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.Why join Chalmers Foundation?At Chalmers Foundation, people come first.
