Employment Type: Full-timeAbout The RoleWe are looking for an experienced SSO - Collections / Receivables professional to manage hospital receivables and drive timely collection of outstanding amounts from patients, corporates, TPAs, insurance companies, and other institutional customers.The role will work closely with finance, billing, TPA, corporate, and operations teams to improve collections and reduce ageing outstanding.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor hospital accounts receivable and outstanding collectionsTrack outstanding amounts across patients, corporates, TPAs, and insurance companiesDevelop and maintain an ageing-wise receivables trackerFollow up with TPAs, insurance companies, corporate clients, and other stakeholders for pending paymentsIdentify delayed payments and take proactive action for collectionCoordinate with billing and TPA teams to resolve documentation, billing, and claim-related issues affecting collectionsMonitor claim deductions, short payments, rejections, and disputed amountsReconcile outstanding balances with finance recordsConduct regular ageing reviews and prioritize high-value and long-pending accountsEscalate critical collection issues to managementPrepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS related to collections and receivablesWork with internal teams to identify root causes of delayed realizationSupport implementation of processes to improve the hospital's collection cycle and reduce DSOEnsure proper documentation and records of all collection follow-upsKey SkillsStrong knowledge of hospital billing, TPA/insurance claims, and receivablesStrong follow-up and negotiation skillsExcellent numerical and analytical abilitiesGood knowledge of Excel and MISAbility to manage large volumes of outstanding dataStrong coordination and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to work with tight collection timelinesPreferred BackgroundCandidates with experience in hospital finance, revenue cycle management, TPA/insurance collections, healthcare receivables, or hospital billing will be preferred.
