Position: Manager - CommercialLocation: GurgaonExperience: 5+ YearsQualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Taxation, or a related fieldCTC: ₹8–10 LPAJob Purpose:We are looking for an experienced Manager – Commercial to manage and strengthen Import/Export, GST, Customs, EOU/SEZ compliances, and related statutory requirements. The role will involve ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with government authorities, and supporting smooth commercial operations.Key Responsibilities:·    Ensure compliance with EOU, SEZ, Customs, GST, and other applicable statutory regulations.·    Manage end-to-end Import and Export documentation and compliance for DTA, EOU and SEZ operations.·    Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, including support for annual returns, assessments, reconciliations, and related compliances.·    Maintain accurate records, registers, supporting documents, and statutory reports for submission to regulatory authorities.·    Monitor changes in GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, EOU/SEZ regulations and ensure timely implementation within the organization.·    Coordinate with tax authorities, Customs, SEZ/EOU authorities, and other government departments for statutory matters and resolution of queries/issues.·    Handle GST-related notices, assessments, reconciliations, and correspondence with tax authorities.·    Liaise with various government authorities, including Customs, GST authorities, NSEZ/SEZ Development Commissioner’s Office, DGFT, and other relevant departments.·    Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to **imports, exports, duty exemptions, shipping bills, bills of entry, and other commercial transactions. ·    Review commercial transactions to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.·    Support internal and external audits related to GST, Customs, Import/Export and SEZ/EOU compliance.·    Coordinate with internal teams such as Finance, Accounts, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure smooth commercial and statutory processes.·    Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely closure of statutory and regulatory requirements.·    Provide regular updates to management on compliance status, regulatory developments, pending matters, and potential risks.Required Skills & Competencies:·    Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, returns, reconciliations, and assessments.·    Hands-on experience in Import/Export procedures and documentation.·    Strong understanding of EOU/SEZ regulations and DTA transactions.·    Good knowledge of Customs laws and procedures.·    Experience in dealing with government authorities and statutory departments.·    Strong documentation, analytical, coordination, and communication skills.·    Ability to independently manage compliance activities and resolve regulatory issues.·    Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.Preferred Candidate Profile:·    5+ years of relevant experience in Commercial, Import/Export, GST, Customs, EOU/SEZ compliance, or related functions.·    Candidates from manufacturing/export-oriented organizations, EOU/SEZ units, or companies with significant import/export operations will be preferred.·    Should have strong hands-on exposure to government liaisoning and statutory compliance.·    Should be capable of independently handling Import/Export and GST compliance activities.
