Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob PurposeThe Conduct Risk Senior Manager is responsible for establishing, leading and overseeing the organization’s conduct risk framework to ensure fair customer outcomes, ethical business practices, and compliance with regulatory requirements, standards and expectations. This role ensures that Conduct Risk is effectively identified, assessed, monitored and mitigated across the Bank.The role plays a critical role in instilling a strong compliance culture, promoting accountability and safeguarding the Bank’s reputation.Principal AccountabilitiesConduct Risk Framework & GovernanceDesign, implement, and maintain the enterprise-wide conduct risk framework.Develop policies, standards, and methodologies for identifying and managing conduct risk.Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Periodic reporting to Senior Management, Compliance Committee and BRCC on conduct risk matters.Periodic submission of regulatory reporting to CBUAE Market Conduct Supervision Department.Risk Oversight & MonitoringOversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of conduct risks across products, services, channels, and customer interactions.Monitor conduct-related risk indicators, trends, incidents, and emerging risks.Conduct thematic reviews and deep dives into high-risk areas.Ensure appropriate escalation and remediation of conduct-related issues.Culture & AccountabilityPromote a customer-centric and ethical culture throughout the organization.Support Head of Business and Support Functions in embedding conduct risk considerations into decision-making.Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on conduct risk.Drive accountability for customer outcomes and responsible business conduct.Regulatory & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the key point of contact on conduct risk matters.Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory expectations and ensure proactive compliance.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Risk Management, Legal, Internal Audit, Human Capital Management and Business Units.Incident Management & RemediationOversee investigations into conduct breaches, complaints, and misconduct cases.Ensure root cause analysis is performed, and remediation plans are effective.Track progress of corrective actions to closure.Strategy & Continuous ImprovementProvide strategic input into business initiatives, product governance, and customer journeys.Leverage data analytics and customer insights to strengthen conduct risk monitoring.Benchmark and continuously improve conduct risk practices.Experience and Qualifications12+ years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, or Governance roles.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, Risk Management, or related discipline.Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., ICA, CFA, CISI, FRM, CAMS) preferred.
