Position: ManagerDepartment: Management & Technology ConsultingReports To: Senior Manager / Associate DirectorJob PurposeThe Manager is the first full managerial role in the consulting track. The role holds end-to-end accountability for engagement delivery, carries exposure to the commercial performance and P&L of assigned engagements, and is responsible for developing the team. The Manager leads engagements from mobilisation to close-out, owns the quality and profitability of their workstreams, builds trusted senior-client relationships, and contributes actively to business development.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Engagement DeliveryLead engagements from mobilisation through close-out, owning scope, plan, and delivery.Manage engagement budgets, margins, resourcing, and quality, and maintain RAID governance.Deliver consistently on time and within scope, applying strong quality-assurance and cost-optimisation discipline.Build senior-client confidence and maintain executive visibility throughout delivery.Technical & Analytical WorkApply advanced problem-structuring to complex and ambiguous client issues.Ensure quality, logic, and consistency across all deliverables.Co-create solutions with clients and bring innovation to how problems are solved.Strengthen the practice's engagement tools, frameworks, and reusable methodologies.Business Development & Client GrowthOwn the development and commercial shaping of multiple proposals and lead pursuit strategy.Maintain and expand a personal opportunity pipeline.Lead client presentations, scope discussions, and methodology walkthroughs.Identify cross-service opportunities and repeat mandates, and sponsor opportunity conversion from existing delivery teams.Commercial & CollectionsSupport the commercial health of owned engagements, including timely invoicing and follow-up to close pending payments.People & LeadershipAllocate and supervise Senior Consultants, Consultants, Associate Consultants, and Analysts across owned workstreams.Provide coaching, feedback, and development to the team.Model professional conduct and the Company's values.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (business, engineering, finance, technology, or a related field).A Master's / MBA or relevant professional certification is an advantage.Strong command of analysis and presentation tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-structuring ability.Commercial and financial acumen, including budget and margin management.Strong presence during client engagements and credibility with senior stakeholders.Team leadership, delegation, and coaching.Excellent communication and stakeholder management.Sound judgement and composure under pressure.Quality-assurance discipline and attention to detail.Strong and proven negotiation skills with clients and stakeholders.Bilingual, English and Arabic (Mandatory)Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)On-time, in-scope, on-margin delivery of owned engagements.Deliverable quality and low rework.Pipeline and proposal contribution.Collection performance on owned engagements.Development and progression of coached team members.Working RelationshipsInternalSenior Consultants, Consultants, Associate Consultants, and AnalystsSenior Manager / Associate DirectorShared Services (Human Resources, Finance, Administration)All Business UnitsExternalClients and client stakeholdersSubcontractors, associates, and delivery partnersSuppliers and third-party providers relevant to engagementsIndustry contacts at events and forumsExperienceMinimum 7–9 years of relevant management consulting experience.Proven track record of leading workstreams or engagements independently, on time and within scope.Experience managing junior team members and senior-client relationships.Multi-sector or multi-client exposure is preferred.Personal AttributesStrong sense of ownership and accountability.Proactive and self-motivated.Client-focused with a service-oriented mindset.Composed and considerate under pressure.Collaborative and team-oriented.Able to handle confidential information with discretion.Adaptable and eager to keep learning.
