Oneira Talent are retained by a leading Saudi holding company with a portfolio of technology and high-growth businesses across the Kingdom and wider region.The group is backed by established Saudi investors and is entering an important phase of expansion, with growth driven through a combination of portfolio development, new investments, strategic acquisitions and partnerships.The roleThis role reports directly to the CEO and is a market-facing origination and corporate development position covering Saudi Arabia's technology and high-growth private-company ecosystem.You will spend significant time in the market meeting founders, owners, advisers, investors and financial institutions, developing relationships and identifying businesses and opportunities that could be relevant to the group's growth strategy.Not every opportunity will result in an acquisition or investment. Depending on the situation, relationships may lead to strategic partnerships, commercial opportunities or other forms of collaboration with the group's existing businesses.The group operates with a lean senior team, so this is not a pure sourcing or origination seat. You will work closely with the CEO, CFO and investment team across the evaluation process, including initial assessment, screening materials, financial analysis, modelling and due diligence.What you will be doingBuilding and maintaining a strong understanding of the Saudi technology and high-growth private-company landscapeDeveloping direct relationships with founders, owners, advisers, investors and banking partners across the ecosystemIdentifying, sourcing and pre-qualifying potential investment and strategic opportunitiesPreparing initial assessments and screening papers for senior management and investment committeesSupporting financial analysis, modelling, diligence coordination and transaction executionWorking alongside the CEO and senior leadership to evaluate new businesses, investments and strategic opportunitiesRepresenting the group externally at industry events and across the Saudi investment and technology communityBuilding a proprietary network that generates opportunities beyond traditional adviser-led processesWhat we are looking for (Saudi Nationals only)Circa 4–8 years' experience in venture capital, growth equity, corporate development, principal investment, investment banking or a related investment roleA genuine personal network across Saudi technology, digital and high-growth private businessesComfortable originating relationships directly rather than relying solely on inbound or adviser-led opportunitiesStrong commercial and investment judgement, with the analytical grounding to build a screening paper and support financial modellingCredible in front of founders, business owners, investors and senior executivesEntrepreneurial and comfortable operating independently within a lean, high-accountability environmentSaudi national, based in or relocating to RiyadhFluent Arabic and EnglishYou will report directly to the CEO and have significant exposure to senior decision-makers across the group.
