SHURJO - PRATAP GLOBAL LIMITED (SPGL) is looking for Manager - Customs Clearing & Forwarding (Operations)Job Description / ResponsibilityCoordinate with clients and internal teams to determine pricing for freight forwarding services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability, if required.Check documents for Import shipment and ensure correct documentation for Import manifest submission, Send arrival notice and Invoice to the Customer, Issue Delivery Order.Keep Track of the shipments.Coordinate the entire export process e.g- Booking, BL preparation, SI submission, On time Pre-alert to relevant stakeholders, Invoice preparation etc.Maintain Daily Shipment Tracking record.Maintain proper correspondents with Customs, shipping line, C&F and other concerned offices whenever required.Visit Airport cargo village for operational follow up, if requiredEducational RequirementsSkills Required: Clearing and forwarding, Shipping, CUSTOMS CLEARANCEExperience Requirements4 to 5 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Freight forwardingAdditional RequirementsThe applicants should have experience in freight forwarding.Irrelevant industry shall not be considered.Proven experience in freight forwarding operations, with a focus on handling Air Freight and Ocean Freight Operation from Booking to Last mile Delivery.Strong networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships within the Shipping and Airlines industry.Knowledge of IGM and EGM Knowledge of working with Airport Operation Team on handling freight forwarders shipment (preferred)Proficiency in English (both written & spoken).Job LocationChattogram
