Amali Properties is a luxury real estate developer co-founded by Mr. Ali Sajwani and Ms. Amira Sajwani, redefining modern luxury living through bespoke architecture, visionary design, and exceptional craftsmanship.With a growing portfolio of ultra-luxury developments across the UAE, Amali is shaping the future of refined living through distinctive, design-led spaces that blend privacy, sophistication, and innovation.About the roleLead and manage design activities across multiple ultra-luxury projects from concept design through detailed design, construction documentation and execution.Critically review architectural and interior design submissions for design quality, technical accuracy, buildability and alignment with Amali's luxury vision and brand standards.Identify, challenge and resolve design and technical issues at detailed design stage, working hands-on with consultants to develop practical solutions without compromising design intent.Provide strong design direction on architecture and interiors, including spatial planning, detailing, material selection, finishes, lighting and bespoke joinery.Ensure a consistent, high-end level of detailing and craftsmanship across all project stages, benchmarked against leading global luxury developments.Track design deliverables, milestones and approvals to ensure adherence to project programmes and development objectives.Support the Senior Director - Design in driving project progress and resolving issues that may impact programme, cost or quality.Act as the primary point of coordination between architects, interior designers, landscape consultants, engineers and specialist consultants.Review drawings and technical documents for completeness, consistency and multidisciplinary coordination before formal approvals.Identify design clashes, technical risks and value engineering opportunities, ensuring solutions protect the quality and luxury positioning of the product.Coordinate and lead design workshops, progress meetings and technical review sessions.Build effective working relationships with internal departments including Development, Projects, Commercial, Procurement, Sales and Marketing.Review and coordinate consultant responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), material submissions, samples, mock-ups and shop drawings.Support site teams in resolving design issues during execution while safeguarding approved design intent and finish quality.Participate in site inspections, mock-up reviews and quality walkthroughs to ensure the built outcome reflects the approved design.Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, artisans and specialist vendors as required.Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, highlight potential delays or bottlenecks, and drive accountability among consultants and stakeholders.Support the preparation of design status reports and management presentations.Coordinate submissions and approvals with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring applicable codes and regulations are incorporated within design deliverables.Experience & SkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or a related design discipline.8-10 years of experience in design management, with a strong portfolio in luxury or high-end residential, hospitality or branded residence developments, preferably in the UAE.Excellent design and technical capability across both architecture and interiors, with strong knowledge of detailing, materials and high-end finishes.Proven ability to critically review design and resolve complex technical issues through detailed design and execution.Experience working with internationally renowned architects and interior design consultants is highly desirable.Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements.PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.A refined design eye, meticulous attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.If you have what it takes to lead world-class design and shape the next generation of ultra-luxury living, please click Apply and join Amali Properties in crafting timeless architectural masterpieces.
