Manager - Design (DEL-2)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing direction, mentorship, and technical guidanceOversee the development of design concepts, plans, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectivesCollaborate closely with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver integrated design solutionsManage the full design lifecycle from concept development through project completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standardsReview and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project goals and industry best practicesCoordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to support efficient project executionStay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and industry innovations, incorporating best practices where appropriateEnsure compliance with applicable regulations, design codes, and company standardsFoster a culture of collaboration, creativity, continuous improvement, and professional development within the design teamQualification and Experience:Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, or a related fieldMinimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in design management, preferably within large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, entertainment, or real estate developmentsDemonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex projectsStrong understanding of design principles, construction methodologies, applicable codes, and regulatory requirementsProficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative SuiteExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentProven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental best practices is highly desirable
