North Vancouver, British Columbia Full-TimeAbout RZOLV TechnologiesRZOLV Technologies Inc. is a publicly traded Canadian clean-technology company developing advanced hydrometallurgical solutions for the recovery of gold, silver, copper, rare earth elements and other critical minerals.Our technology platform is designed to provide lower-impact alternatives and complementary processing solutions for conventional mining, mine tailings, concentrates, complex ores and secondary mineral resources.RZOLV is entering an important stage of technical validation, demonstration and commercialization, with active programs and opportunities in Canada, the United States and international markets.We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager / Director, Strategic Funding & Business Development to identify, develop and manage non-dilutive funding opportunities, strategic government programs, industry awards, innovation competitions and related business-development initiatives.The OpportunityThis is not simply a grant-writing position.The successful candidate will work directly with senior management, our scientific and technical teams, external partners, research institutions and government agencies to identify and advance funding and recognition opportunities that can accelerate RZOLV’s growth.The role will be responsible for building and managing a structured pipeline of opportunities across:federal, provincial and international government funding;critical-minerals and mining innovation programs;clean technology and environmental funding;research, development and demonstration programs;defence and dual-use technology programs;commercialization and scale-up funding;academic and industry collaborations;sustainability, ESG and circular-economy programs;mining and technology awards;innovation competitions and challenges;industry nominations and corporate recognition programs; andstrategic partnerships associated with funded projects.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Funding DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate relevant funding opportunities in Canada, the United States and internationally.Maintain a comprehensive funding pipeline including deadlines, eligibility requirements, funding amounts, strategic fit, probability of success and required partners.Lead preparation of grant applications, expressions of interest, project proposals and supporting documentation.Coordinate technical, financial, environmental and commercialization information required for major applications.Develop project narratives, work plans, milestones, KPIs, budgets, schedules and commercialization strategies.Work with finance personnel to prepare detailed project budgets, cost justifications and funding models.Ensure applications comply with government solicitation requirements and submission deadlines.Manage follow-up communications with funding agencies and consortium administrators.Government & Industry ProgramsDevelop relationships with relevant government agencies, funding organizations, research institutions and industry associations.Monitor programs related to:critical minerals;mineral processing;mining innovation;clean technology;industrial decarbonization;mine waste and tailings;circular economy;water and environmental technologies;defence and strategic materials;advanced manufacturing; andtechnology commercialization.Support management in evaluating Canadian, U.S., European and international funding opportunities.Awards, Competitions & Corporate RecognitionBuild and maintain an annual calendar of relevant mining, clean-tech, environmental, sustainability and technology awards.Prepare submissions and nominations for major industry and innovation awards.Identify opportunities to build third-party validation and recognition for RZOLV’s technology, environmental performance and commercialization progress.Coordinate supporting data, case studies, project results and external endorsements.Strategic Business DevelopmentIdentify potential early adopters, project partners, research organizations and commercial collaborators that can strengthen grant and demonstration applications.Support development of partnership structures, LOIs, MOUs and project-development frameworks.Assist management in evaluating strategic projects that may qualify for government-supported demonstration or commercialization programs.Help translate technical achievements into compelling commercial and strategic narratives.Project & Funding Administration· Maintain a centralized database of current and prospective funding programs.Track application status, reporting requirements, milestones and deliverables.Coordinate post-award reporting and compliance where required.Work closely with management, finance and technical personnel to ensure funded projects remain aligned with approved scopes and budgets.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:government grants and non-dilutive funding;mining or mineral processing;clean technology;critical minerals;environmental technology;industrial technology;research and innovation funding;government relations;corporate development;
