About OmniwiseEstablished in 1995, Omniwise International Group of Companies (OIGC) is a diversified Malaysian group with businesses spanning aircraft ground-handling support, film production, mobile water treatment, smart energy solutions, food and beverage, information technology services, and international trade.As the Group enters its next phase of growth, we are strengthening our finance leadership capabilities to support sustainable expansion, stronger governance and better-informed commercial decisions across our subsidiaries.About the RoleWe are seeking a commercially minded and strategically capable Manager, Finance & Strategy to work closely with the Chairman, CEO and senior leadership team.This is not a conventional transactional accounting role. The successful candidate will complement our existing Finance Manager and Finance Executive by strengthening Group-level financial planning, performance analysis, investment evaluation, management reporting and finance transformation.The role requires someone who can analyse complex financial and operational information, challenge assumptions and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations for senior management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Group budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash-flow planning and financial-performance reviews.Analyse profitability by subsidiary, client, contract and operation, including manpower costs, margins and working-capital requirements.Prepare management dashboards, financial models, Board papers and executive-level presentation decks.Evaluate investments, capital expenditure, new ventures, pricing proposals and business cases through financial and scenario analysis.Conduct a Group-wide review of finance processes, controls, reporting quality and systems, and recommend practical improvements.Support tender costing, commercial proposals, strategic projects, cost optimisation and finance-transformation initiatives.Work closely with the existing finance team and subsidiary leaders to strengthen governance, reporting discipline and commercial decision-making.Key PrioritiesDuring the first 12-24 months, the successful candidate will be expected to:Establish clearer Group-wide budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow visibility.Develop profitability reporting across major subsidiaries, clients and contracts.Complete a structured finance diagnostic and improvement roadmap.Strengthen investment-evaluation, management-reporting and decision-support processes.Identify measurable opportunities to improve profitability, controls and operating efficiency.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking or a related discipline.At least six years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, audit, corporate finance, finance business partnering or transformation.Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow, management accounting, internal controls and commercial analysis.Demonstrated ability to prepare financial models, management reports and professional presentation decks.Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management capabilities.Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.High integrity, sound judgement and confidence in advising senior leadership.Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent, and experience in Big Four, consulting, internal audit, finance transformation or manpower-intensive operations will be advantageous.What We OfferDirect working exposure to the Chairman, CEO and senior leadership.Group-wide responsibility across a diversified portfolio of businesses.The opportunity to shape the Group’s financial strategy, governance and decision-making framework.A collaborative working relationship with an experienced finance operations team.A longer-term pathway towards broader Group finance leadership, subject to performance, capability and organisational requirements.An additional performance-based incentive linked to verified and sustainably implemented cost savings.Remuneration and Performance IncentiveBasic salary of RM7,000 per month, based on experience and capabilities.Additional performance incentive of 3%–5% of verified cost savings successfully implemented, subject to agreed targets and company policy.Opportunities for salary and role progression based on performance, contribution, and expanded responsibilities.Candidates who combine strong financial foundations with commercial judgement, strategic thinking and the confidence to provide independent advice are encouraged to apply.
