Using advanced technology and quality materials, Gemopai aims to deliver a reliable, enjoyable riding experience for its customers.About the RoleWe are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function of our growing electric vehicle manufacturing business.The ideal candidate will work closely with the senior management team as a finance business partner, providing accurate financial insights, managing accounting and taxation, controlling costs, monitoring working capital and supporting strategic business decisions.The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in GST, taxation, accounting, inventory, budgeting, MIS, financial reporting and cash-flow management, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & MIS* Lead the finance and accounting function of the organization.* Prepare and present monthly MIS and financial reports to senior management.* Develop financial forecasts, budgets and business plans.* Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.* Provide management with actionable financial insights for business decisions.* Monitor profitability, margins, expenses and overall financial performance.Accounting & Compliance* Oversee complete accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely books of accounts.* Manage GST compliance, including returns, reconciliations and related matters.* Coordinate preparation and filing of income-tax and other statutory returns.* Handle statutory, internal and tax audits.* Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements.* Maintain proper documentation and financial controls.Working Capital & Cash Flow* Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.* Manage accounts receivable and payable.* Track customer outstanding payments and vendor liabilities.* Prepare cash-flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.* Work closely with management on payment planning and fund utilization.Inventory & Manufacturing Finance* Monitor inventory accounting and valuation.* Track raw materials, components, CKD kits, finished goods and spare parts.* Coordinate with procurement, production and operations teams to improve inventory controls.* Analyse inventory movement, ageing and working capital impact.* Support product costing, BOM costing and manufacturing cost analysis.* Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.Banking & Reconciliation* Manage banking relationships and day-to-day banking operations.* Conduct regular bank reconciliations.* Monitor bank balances, payments and collections.* Support working-capital and financing requirements.Payroll & Internal Controls* Oversee payroll processing and related accounting.* Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.* Monitor income and expenditure and ensure proper authorization of expenses.* Identify financial risks and recommend corrective measures.What We’re Looking For* 5–7 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.* Experience in manufacturing, automotive or EV industry will be preferred.* Strong knowledge of GST, taxation and statutory compliance.* Hands-on experience with accounting, MIS, budgeting and forecasting.* Strong understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting.* Excellent knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work with large volumes of financial and operational data.* Strong communication and presentation skills.* High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership.* Ability to work independently and partner effectively with senior management.Why Join Us?Join a queries.Candidates should possess Team Management skills to lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounts team effectively.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with knowledge of ERP systems preferred.Sound understanding of taxation, compliance, and statutory regulations relevant to the automotive or manufacturing sector.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and integrity in handling financial data.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
