Today, the RSPO is a global, non-profit organisation with over 6,000 voluntary members across 104 countries and territories, representing every link in the supply chain: oil palm producers, palm oil processors and traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, environmental or nature conservation non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and social or developmental NGOs.At RSPO, we believe that our success is built by the passion, dedication, skills, and expertise of our people. They are the ones who drive our organisation to new heights and guide us through the next phase of our development.The Manager, Innovation & Transformation plays a key role in translating RSPO’s strategic ambitions into executional reality. This role is built around three fundamental, ongoing responsibilities: reviewing RSPO’s end-to-end processes and systems to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement that strengthens member experience and internal efficiency and productivity; running the PMO function, providing the governance and tracking discipline needed to keep the organization’s strategic initiatives on course; and leading the change management needed to drive adoption of the systems and process improvements delivered, ensuring they translate into lasting impact.Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, the role helps embed a disciplined, transparent way of managing change and progress, enabling RSPO to translate strategy into consistent, measurable outcomes as it continuously improves how it works. The specific initiatives this role leads will evolve as RSPO’s priorities evolve. The immediate priority is the reassessment, redesign and rebuild of RSPO’s Salesforce system, in support of the 3-Year Operating Plan’s target outcomes such as faster membership-to-certification timelines and improved member advocacy.The location of this role is Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESDuties include but will not be limited to the following:Project Delivery (Business Analysis & Project Management)Assess as-is member journey processes, such as lead generation, membership application, certification and post-membership support, and identify opportunities to optimise these processes ahead of implementation.Identify automation and AI capabilities to improve the efficiency of current member journeys, and embed these into functional requirements and implementation.Building on member journey findings, gather, document and validate business requirements from stakeholders across RSPO for system implementationsTranslate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories and process flows for the vendor/development team.Manage end-to-end project plan, including scope, timeline, resourcing and dependencies.Act as the primary liaison with the vendor, coordinating requirement walkthroughs, sprint reviews and go-live activities.Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business requirements before deployment.Support change management and training activities to drive user adoption of the new system.Identify gaps or trade-offs between business needs and technical design, and escalate decisions to relevant stakeholders as needed.Build strong working relationships with internal IT/digital teams and Business Process Owners (BPOs) to support project delivery.Project Management Office (PMO)Track progress of the organisation’s strategic initiatives ensuring execution stays aligned with defined target outcomes.Maintain a consolidated tracker of key initiatives, risks, issues and dependencies across divisions.Run governance cadences (e.g. status reviews, steering updates) to keep initiatives on track.Proactively identify risks and issues, and escalate to relevant stakeholders/leadership with recommended mitigations.Support project sponsors and initiative owners with project management tools, templates and best practices.Prepare periodic reporting on organisation-wide initiative status for leadership.Change Management & Culture TransformationLead change management activities that drive adoption of new systems, tools and processes introduced through assigned projects.Design and execute communication and engagement materials to support project rollouts and stakeholder buy-in.Help promote a culture of structured execution, accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation.Act as a champion for consistent project management and governance practices among project teams and stakeholders.THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTEducationPreferably Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.Experience5 – 8 years of experience in business analysis and/or project management, with CRM (Salesforce or similar) implementation projects and operations execution, covering sales to servicing modules and processes.Experience with SDLC and Agile project implementation methodologies.Lean Six Sigma certification.Experience working with external vendors/implementation partners on requirement gathering and solution delivery.Experience running a PMO function, tracking multiple concurrent initiatives.Familiar with business analysis and analytics techniques (process mapping, user story writing, data modelling), including data warehouse or data lake experience.Experience with change management and communications practices to support user adoption.Exposure to human-centred design or design thinking methodologies to develop member-centric solutions.Familiar with using AI tools and solutions (e.g. GenAI assistants, automation platforms) to drive productivity.ESSENTIAL SKILLSBusiness Analysis & Requirements ManagementProject & Program ManagementVendor ManagementGovernance & Risk/Issue TrackingStakeholder Management & CollaborationAnalytical & Problem-Solving ThinkingChange ManagementMember-Centric OrientationHuman-Centric Design & Design ThinkingDigital-First MindsetAI Fluency & Productivity ToolsHOW TO APPLYQualified applicants are invited to send in their updated CV giving comprehensive details of educational background, work experience, and related achievements to careers@rspo.org.
