Proximo Spirits is a leading and innovative supplier in the Spirits industry with a portfolio of iconic Premium and Super Premium brands.About the RoleYou'll be the insights and thought partner to our commercial organization and to the wider business.Our Off-Premise National Accounts and E-Commerce teams are your primary customer:Build the selling stories that win distribution, shelf space, and programming at national retailersSupport joint business planning with distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion analysisJoin key customer meetings and present alongside our sales leadersAct as a trusted advisor to sales, turning their questions into analysis and analysis into a clear recommendationYou'll also sit on a centralized insights team serving the whole company:Answer the questions our executive leadership and marketing teams bring youTrack brand, category, and competitive performance, and flag what's changing and whyPackage it all so it's understood in one readLook for what's manual or slow and fix it, including building dashboards and self-serve reporting so partners can answer routine questions themselvesWhat we're looking for5+ years working with sales, category, market, or consumer data in a commercial settingExperience with retail or market data such as Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, NABCA, retailer portals, or internal sales dataStrong Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to turn complex analysis into clear, compelling recommendations that people act on. Storytelling with data is most of this job.Willingness to present your work to senior stakeholders and customersThe habit of asking "so what?" until the answer is genuinely usefulClear communication, and the instinct to adapt how you explain something depending on whether you're talking to a sales director, an executive, or a retail buyerA problem-solving mindset: you can take a vague question, scope it yourself, and come back with an answerInitiative to spot what needs doing and pick it up without being askedWhy this roleYour work goes in front of our executive leadership team and in front of key retailers. The team is lean and actively building its data foundation, so you'll shape how things get done rather than inherit a fixed process. The range of what you'll touch is unusually wide for a role at this level.Key RelationshipsInternal: Business Intelligence, Finance, Commercial, Marketing, ELT (Executive Leadership Team)External: Distributor Partners, Syndicated Data PartnersDesired Experience, Knowledge, and CharacteristicsBachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Statistics, and Economics).Minimum 5+ years in Spirits, CPG, Retail, Consulting, or Agency experience, in the areas of Category Management, Market Research, or Market/Pricing/Data AnalyticsExpert knowledge and experience with Spirits or Retail syndicated resource information and applications (Nielsen, NABCA, Circana, Numerator, VIP, etc.)Strong knowledge of data manipulation, database design, foundational data analytics and data platform structures; ability to manage large data sets & databasesStrong presentation skills, comfort in customer & executive facing environmentsExperience with dashboarding software (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, Looker, etc.) preferredFamiliarity with Database Management (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Access, etc.)Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint ProficiencyThe salary range for this role is a base salary of $103,000 - $130,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location.
