About the role:Moonshot is currently recruiting an Insight Manager to support the delivery of projects within an existing programme. In this role, you will manage the day to day delivery of analytical projects focused on identifying and assessing online harms.You will coordinate a team of analysts conducting OSINT monitoring and analysis, ensuring outputs are delivered on time, to a high standard, and aligned with client requirements. The role combines project management with a strong understanding of analytical workflows, and requires the ability to operate in fast paced environments and support effective delivery across multiple workstreams.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the day-to-day delivery of projects focused on monitoring and analysing online harms activity, ensuring outputs are delivered on time and to a high standardCoordinating workflows across data collection, OSINT monitoring, analysis and reportingTasking and supporting a team of analysts, ensuring effective prioritisation of work within high-tempo delivery cyclesReviewing and quality assuring analytical outputs, including datasets and written reports, to ensure accuracy, consistency and relevanceTracking project progress against timelines, and identifying and mitigating risks to deliverySupporting the analysis of online harms activity, including reviewing large datasets and identifying key patterns, trends and insightsSupporting the development and refinement of research methodologies and processes where needed for project deliveryManaging relationships with clients and supporting the presentation of findings in both written and verbal formatsContributing to the identification of improvements to workflows, tools and delivery processesRequirementsEssential:Candidates will be expected to undergo and pass a police check and additional checks for security clearance at an SC level, which typically requires a minimum of five years' continuous UK residency immediately prior to applicationProfessional experience managing projects involving analysis and investigation using open-source research and OSINT methodsExperience working on or supporting projects focused on serious and organised crime, violent extremism or related public safety issuesExperience coordinating teams or managing delivery within analytical, research or monitoring environmentsStrong ability to interpret and work with both quantitative and qualitative dataAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in fast-paced environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and key insights within large datasetsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrable ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure delivery through othersWillingness to be on-call and occasionally work outside regular working hours in response to operational requirementsWe require and will check candidates' eligibility to work in the UK and pass any relevant security clearance procedures per the needs of clientsDesirable:Experience working with social media datasets or large-scale online data collectionFamiliarity with tools used for data analysis, visualisation or database managementExperience working with government or law enforcement clientsExisting SC clearance or higherBenefits30 days' paid annual leave, excluding bank holidaysPrivate healthcare package with access to specialist mental health cover, including coverage for partners and childrenEmployee Assistance Programme providing access to mental health supportGenerous maternity and paternity leave: 26 weeks paid maternity leave, 8 weeks paid paternity leaveAll permanent employees are granted share options upon employmentSalary: £46,000 - £55,000 (depending on skills and experience).
