As we continue to grow and integrate our businesses, we are building enterprise capabilities that improve service, visibility, cost and consistency across the network.Position SummaryThe Manager, International Logistics & Trade, owns Agility's end-to-end transportation network. This encompasses overseas supplier origin through U.S. customs and final delivery, as well as domestic outbound freight and carrier management. This role is responsible for transportation cost, service, compliance, shipment visibility and logistics provider performance across Agility's multi-site network. The manager will initially operate as a hands-on leader and is expected to build and develop a small team as the function grows.Key Responsibilities· Own international inbound transportation across ocean, air, drayage and related services from supplier booking through final U.S. delivery.· Own domestic outbound transportation, including FTL, LTL, parcel, expedited and interfacility freight, with clear routing and service standards.· Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and 3PL partners; lead RFQs, rate negotiations, service agreements, scorecards and performance reviews.· Lead operational import and trade compliance, including customs documentation, HTS classification controls, country of origin, valuation, duties/tariffs, recordkeeping and broker oversight.· Build enterprise visibility into freight spend, landed cost, transit performance, shipment status, accessorials, demurrage/detention and logistics exceptions.· Drive cost and service improvements through provider consolidation, mode optimization, container utilization, better planning and disciplined exception management.· Standardize logistics processes, KPIs and escalation procedures across Agility locations and support TMS, freight audit and shipment visibility tools as needed.· Partner closely with Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Planning, Distribution, Manufacturing, Project Management, Customer Operations and Finance.· Build, coach and develop the Logistics Coordinator team as the function grows.Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Operations, Business or a related field.· 7+ years of progressive logistics, transportation or supply chain experience, including meaningful responsibility for international freight and U.S. domestic transportation.· Strong working knowledge of U.S. import/customs processes, Incoterms, import documentation, HTS classification, country of origin, valuation and duties/tariffs.· Demonstrated experience managing freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and/or 3PL providers.· Experience leading transportation RFQs, negotiating rates and contracts, and managing carrier/service provider performance.· Strong analytical skills with experience using freight spend, lane, service and landed cost data to drive decisions and savings.· Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP, TMS, WMS or transportation/shipment-visibility systems.· Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel to Agility facilities and logistics partners as needed.Preferred Experience· Asia-to-North America freight experience, particularly China sourcing lanes.· Manufacturing, importing, distribution, retail fixtures or other multi-site operating environments.· Building or centralizing logistics processes across acquired or decentralized businesses.What Success Looks LikeA hands-on, high ownership leader who can build structure where it does not yet exist; improve freight cost and service; strengthen trade compliance; create reliable shipment and landed-cost visibility; and develop a scalable logistics team.Compensation$110,000-$130,000 base salary annually, based on experience and location.
