Manager, IT & Telecoms Infrastructure Management

Job summary:To manage and enhance the organization's IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and telecommunications systems, ensuring they are robust, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This role involves developing strategic IT frameworks, managing technology upgrades, ensuring system integrity, and optimizing resource utilization to support seamless operational and strategic initiatives.General Responsibilities:Policy, Procedures, Process and SystemsFollow the operational strategy in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.ReportingEnsure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business and organization’s policies and standards.Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.Job Specific Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies for IT infrastructure, cloud services, and telecommunications to support the organization's operational and strategic goals.Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive IT infrastructure including data centers, networks, cloud environments, and telecommunications systems.Manage vendor relationships and service agreements for infrastructure, cloud, and telecom services to ensure compliance and optimize service delivery.Develop and execute a cloud strategy that includes service selection, adoption, and migration, while also overseeing the integration and management of cloud and platform engineering solutions.Manage the organization's cloud infrastructure, provisioning, monitoring, and optimization of cloud resources.Implement and manage robust security policies, controls, and best practices across all IT platforms to protect data and systems from unauthorized access and breaches.Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure and cloud services.Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure, cloud services, and telecommunications, ensuring organizational resilience.Monitor and control costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective operations.Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance system efficiency, capacity, and reliability.Lead the transformation and modernization of telecommunications systems to enhance network capabilities and support future technology integrations.People Management Responsibilities:LeadershipActively participate in continuous improvement and professional development activities.
