We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Manager, IT Infrastructure and Network. This role will design, build, and operate the company’s enterprise technology environment. This role is hands on and owns corporate IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and networking, and works closely with SkyVest's Cybersecurity Manager, and with SkyVest's managed security services provider where applicable, to keep those environments secure by design.This role reports to the VP, Information Technology.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Infrastructure & CloudArchitect, build, and maintain secure, highly available enterprise IT infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS), including cloud governance, cost optimization, and Infrastructure as Code standardsManage identity and directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, PKI) and enterprise authentication, in partnership with the Cybersecurity ManagerDesign enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutionsEstablish standards for servers, storage, virtualization, and endpoint managementCorporate Network EngineeringDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity across headquarters, remote offices, substations, and generation sitesConfigure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers; implement network segmentation and secure remote access for a distributed workforceOversee network monitoring, capacity planning, and documentationMonitoring & OperationsBuild monitoring, logging, and observability across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and networking, with proactive alerting and dashboards to maintain uptime and reliabilityEstablish operational procedures, documentation, and change management.Manage infrastructure and networking vendors, managed service providers, and related capital/operational budgetsPartner with the Cybersecurity Manager and site teams on secure network segmentation between corporate IT and OT environmentsDevelop the enterprise infrastructure roadmap and lead infrastructure modernization initiativesQualifications And SkillsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure and networkingHands-on experience designing and building cloud infrastructure in Azure or AWSStrong expertise in enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN)Experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies: Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and IntuneWorking knowledge of disaster recovery/business continuity and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)Preferred BackgroundExposure to renewable energy, utilities, power generation, or critical infrastructureFamiliarity with OT/industrial networking conceptsRelevant certification: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, or CCNPAdditional Role InformationMostly sedentary work; using standard office equipment including: a computer, keyboard, and telephonePosition is based in either Houston, TX or Newtown, PAPosition requires 30% travel to other SkyVest and ArcLight offices, as well as to generation assetsMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without that the need for current sponsorship by the CompanyTotal RewardsSkyVest offers a total rewards package to attract and retain top talent in the utility-scale renewable industry.
