Manager IT Platforms and Networks

ZB Financial Holdings is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager – IT Platforms and Networks to join our Transformation team. The role carries strategic and operational accountability for the Group's IT platforms, infrastructure and network environment and is critical to the delivery of the Group's digital transformation and operational resilience objectives. The Manager — IT Platforms and Networks will provide senior technical leadership across enterprise platforms, server and storage infrastructure, network architecture and connectivity. The incumbent will ensure that all technology environments are available, secure, compliant and capable of supporting the Group's evolving business requirements.Key AccountabilitiesFormulate and execute the IT platforms and networks strategy aligned to Group technology and business objectives.Manage and optimise enterprise platforms, operating systems, databases and storage infrastructure.Design, implement and optimise the Group's network infrastructure and communications environment.Ensure high availability, resilience and performance of all critical platforms and networks.Drive infrastructure modernisation and automation in support of the digital banking agendaImplement and test business continuity, disaster recovery and backup capabilities.Champion full compliance with cybersecurity, risk, regulatory and governance requirements.Manage technology vendors against agreed service levels and commercial commitments.Lead capacity planning, lifecycle management and infrastructure refresh programs.Provide accurate and timely management reporting on platform and network performance.Provide technical input into technology architecture, solution design, cloud adoption, systems integration and emerging technology initiatives.Develop and maintain appropriate documentation, standards, policies and operating procedures for platforms and networks.Lead, coach and develop the IT Platforms & Networks team to deliver a high-performing and customer-focused technology service.Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related fieldProfessional certification(s) in Networking and/or cloud computing Professional certification(s) IT Service Management and Project Management(advantageous)Minimum 7 years' experience in IT infrastructure, platforms or networks, 3 years of which should be in a management or leadership role.Core CompetenciesDemonstrated proficiency in managing enterprise-scale technology platforms and network environments, preferably within banking or financial services.Strong experience in network architecture, infrastructure management, systems administration and technology operations.Practical understanding of cloud technologies, virtualisation, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, high-availability environments and technology resilience.Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers.Demonstrable experience in technology transformation, infrastructure modernisation and/or digital banking environments will be an added advantageAbility to multi-task within tight deadlines establish priorities and deliver high-quality work.Must be solution oriented with a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency.
