Manager – Learning & Development

Role Overview:The role will involve partnering with business teams and HRBPs to identify capabilityrequirements, design and execute learning interventions, manage digital learning andLMS initiatives, and track learning effectiveness through data and insights.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business teams and HRBPs to identify learning and capabilitygaps and translate them into appropriate interventions.Design and execute role-based learning journeys aligned with business andfunctional requirements.Manage induction and onboarding learning programs for new employees.Design and coordinate behavioural, functional, product, process and leadershipdevelopment interventions.Create blended learning solutions using classroom, virtual, digital andexperiential learning methodologies.Continuously identify opportunities to improve learning experience and programeffectiveness.End-to-End Learning Program ManagementOwn learning initiatives from requirement gathering and design throughexecution, evaluation and reporting.Manage program content, communication, participant coordination, logistics,faculty, vendors and post-program activities.Work with internal subject matter experts and external facilitators to develop anddeliver relevant learning solutions.Ensure timely execution and high-quality learner experience across programs.Develop learner communication and engagement initiatives to improveparticipation and completion. LMS & Digital LearningSupport and manage LMS governance, including content management, learneradministration, reporting and data accuracy.Curate relevant digital learning content based on role and capabilityrequirements.Drive adoption and engagement of digital learning platforms across employees.Develop and manage digital learning journeys, microlearning and othertechnology-enabled learning interventions.Identify emerging L&D technologies and practices that can improve learningeffectiveness and scalability.L&D Analytics & EffectivenessDevelop and maintain L&D dashboards, MIS and reports covering participation,completion, learning hours, effectiveness and other relevant metrics. Analyse learning data and provide actionable insights to HR and businessleadership.Track program effectiveness through feedback, assessments, knowledge checksand other evaluation mechanisms.Prepare periodic L&D reviews and presentations for leadership.Support development of data-driven approaches to measure learning impact.Stakeholder & Vendor Management Build strong working relationships with business leaders, functional heads,HRBPs and other internal stakeholders.Understand business priorities and translate them into practical learningsolutions.Manage external trainers, consultants, content providers and other learningpartners.Coordinate vendor onboarding, program execution, feedback and performanceevaluation.Ensure learning interventions are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets.Desired Skills & Experience• 6–10 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, preferably inBFSI or a large corporate environment.• Hands-on experience in designing and executing learning and capabilitydevelopment programs.• Experience managing induction, role-based learning journeys andfunctional/behavioural interventions.• Strong experience in end-to-end learning program management.• Good understanding of LMS governance, digital learning and contentcuration.• Ability to build and analyse L&D dashboards and MIS and present insights tostakeholders.• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.• Good project management and execution capabilities with the ability to managemultiple initiatives simultaneously.• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.• Exposure to Power BI, learning analytics or other reporting/visualisationtools will be an advantage.• MBA/PGDM in HR, Learning & Development or a related discipline preferred.• BFSI / Mutual Fund / Financial Services experience will be an addedadvantage.
