Manager Legal Advisory & Recoveries

The Collections Department is required to ensure all delinquent customers are called and followed up on for the respective dues which are due by the customers who have an existing facility with the bank. The department is assigned targets monthly which need to be achieved in order to achieve the overall goal for the organization. The collections Unit is required to ensure that our provision numbers, and the product flows are achieved to generate revenue for the bank. The follow up required on these delinquent accounts is done at the collections Centre across all products which include personal loans, credit cards and auto loans respectively.

What You'll Do

Team Leadership & Performance ManagementLead, motivate, and develop a team of internal RM and external collection agency TeamsSet individual and team KPIs aligned with department recovery targets, CPR guidelines, and internal service quality standards. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for skill enhancementPortfolio Management & StrategyOversee and monitor the team’s portfolio to ensure timely follow-up and action on all accounts through different agencies in different regionsDevelop and implement recovery strategies tailored to each segment of delinquent accounts.Internal and external Customer Engagement Guide the team in engaging directly with customers to negotiate settlements, restructuring, or payment plans.Ensure customer interactions are professional, ethical, and Central Bank Compliant.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.Address customers’ concerns, complaints and ensure timely resolution of escalations.Process Compliance & GovernanceEnsure adherence to UAE Central Bank guidelines & bank policiesEnforce strict confidentiality of customer data.Satisfactory Internal and external Audit ratings.Process improvement results in cost saving and efficienciesWhat You'll Need:Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration)Minimum 2-5 Years of Banking Experience.Proven experience managing a team of at least 10 HCStrong knowledge of UAE legal recovery processes; awareness of international law and cross-border recovery practices is a plusProject managementProblem SolvingData Analysis.Team Management.People Development.Effective Change Management.CPR awareness.Practical and Solution OrientedProblem Solver.Forward and analytical thinking.Bonus Points:
