Manager – Legal Consultation

About the RoleThe Manager – Legal Consultation will lead the end-to-end management of commercial contracts across KSIA projects and business functions, including special contracts, leases, consultancy agreements, and project-related agreements.The role will oversee contract negotiations, administration, governance, claims, changes, and commercial risks while providing strategic legal guidance to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with KSIA requirements and organizational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal consultation and advisory support to internal stakeholders.Represent the Legal function in cross-functional engagements and provide independent legal advice on operational and strategic initiatives.Identify and assess legal risks arising from projects, initiatives, and operational activities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.Provide timely legal opinions during operational or business disruptions to safeguard institutional interests and reputation.Advise on the implementation of high-level legal opinions and board-level guidance, ensuring alignment with applicable legal and governance requirements.Identify legal opportunities and constraints related to the airport’s long-term master plan, including infrastructure financing, data sovereignty, and emerging technologies.Provide legal risk assessments and strategic briefings to senior leadership on major commercial matters, ESG disclosure requirements, and cross-border partnerships.Review proposed business models and investment structures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and governance standards.Develop and maintain legal playbooks and advisory templates to support consistent, high-quality legal guidance across corporate and commercial workstreams.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.Professional certifications such as World CC (IACCM), PMP, CIPS, MRICS, CCM, Contract Management Certification, or equivalent are preferred.
