The company is renowned for its integrity, professionalism, and well-run business practices. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Manager - Management Accounting and Planning. The Manager will be responsible for financial statements, financial reporting, and utilizing analytical skills to support accounting and finance operations. The role requires working closely with the management team to create and implement financial plans and strategies. The Manager will play a key role in driving the financial success of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibility:Process Evaluation and Improvement:Evaluate existing business processes, anticipate requirements, and identify areas for enhancement.Develop and implement solutions to optimize processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Continuous Process Review and Optimization:Lead ongoing reviews of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and execute strategies for process optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Analysis and Solution Alignment:Perform thorough requirements analysis to ensure process solutions meet business needs. Resource Allocation and Cost Efficiency:Allocate resources effectively to maintain cost efficiency in project execution. Profitability Analysis and Reporting:Conduct profitability analysis on distribution channels, product categories, etc.Prepare board presentations on new projects and compliance reports for the audit committee. Performance Analysis and Advisory:Analyze actual performance against business plans and budgets.Provide management with insights and recommendations based on trend analysis and statistical models. Financial Planning and Risk Mitigation:Plan and forecast payments to minimize negative cash balances.Coordinate, Manage and Evaluate group insurance portfolios and advise on optimizing employee and business benefits. Project Management and Evaluation:Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies for new projects.Manage new projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance. Budget Preparation and Control:Plan, execute, and prepare budgets for all subsidiaries.Monitor and control budgets regularly to ensure adherence to financial targets. Pricing and Costing Management:Ensure pricing of products sold by subsidiaries is current and compliant with industry standards and government regulations. Performance review meeting:Conduct monthly meetings with subsidiary heads to provide insights into business operations. QualificationsCA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.Minimum five years’ experience.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic & challenging environment.Interested candidates are invited to submit your CV to careers@rockland.lk.
