Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking a hands-on MarTech operations leader to ensure that the platforms, tracking, data flows and integrations used by marketing are reliable, observable and ready for scale.The role owns day-to-day operational health across web, app, CRM and analytics touchpoints. It converts marketing requirements into technically clear work, drives delivery with Product and Engineering, and resolves or coordinates incidents that affect campaign execution, measurement or customer experience.The ideal candidate combines implementation knowledge, structured problem-solving and strong delivery discipline. This is not a campaign management role. It is the technical and operational backbone that enables campaign, CRM, loyalty, ecommerce and analytics teams to work with trusted data and stable services.Role MandateCreate clear ownership and operational standards for MarTech tracking, feeds, integrations and platform health.Reduce campaign and measurement disruption through monitoring, incident management and root-cause resolution.Improve delivery velocity by translating business needs into implementation-ready requirements and actively managing dependencies.Maintain accurate documentation, controls and change records so solutions remain supportable and scalable.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Operations & Service ReliabilityOwn the operational health of core MarTech capabilities, including tracking, tags, SDKs, APIs, audience/data flows, product feeds and platform configurations.Define service health indicators, monitoring, alerting and operational dashboards for critical customer and campaign data flows.Coordinate incident triage, impact assessment, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions.Maintain an actionable register of defects, recurring issues, technical debt and reliability risks.Tracking, Tagging & Data QualityOwn tracking and tagging governance across web and app, including event taxonomy, data-layer requirements, consent dependencies and release validation.Partner with Analytics to verify that events, parameters, identities and conversion signals are complete, consistent and fit for reporting and activation.Establish pre-release and post-release quality checks, reconciliation routines and exception handling for critical data.Diagnose discrepancies across source systems, analytics platforms and activation tools, then coordinate remediation.Integrations, Feeds & Technical EnablementManage operational requirements for system integrations and recurring feeds that support audiences, content, campaigns and measurement.Document source-to-target mappings, refresh frequency, dependencies, failure handling, ownership and support paths.Work with Product and Engineering on APIs, SDKs and platform enhancements, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are unambiguous.Support configuration or implementation directly where access, controls and technical scope permit.Backlog, Change & Release ManagementTranslate marketing priorities into a structured MarTech backlog with clear business impact, technical scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria.Drive prioritisation and delivery with Engineering and platform partners, challenging unclear estimates and escalating blocked dependencies.Coordinate release readiness, testing evidence, rollback considerations and business sign-off for material changes.Ensure production changes are documented and handed over with appropriate monitoring and support ownership.Operating Model, Documentation & ControlsCreate and maintain SOPs, runbooks, architecture/data-flow views, configuration records and troubleshooting guides.Define access, change and environment controls in partnership with Security, Privacy and Technology teams.Establish recurring service reviews covering reliability, data quality, backlog health, incidents and technical debt.Build reusable standards that reduce dependence on individual knowledge and support expansion across brands and markets.Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage operational delivery from MarTech vendors and implementation partners against agreed scope, service levels and quality expectations.Act as the primary bridge between Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, Analytics, Product and Engineering for operational MarTech matters.Communicate technical issues in clear business language, including impact, options, owner, decision required and recovery plan.Key StakeholdersInternal: CRM, Loyalty, Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, Analytics, Product, Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Privacy and market/brand teams.External: MarTech platform providers, systems integrators, implementation partners and specialist agencies.Qualifications & Experience5-7+ years in MarTech operations, digital analytics implementation, marketing technology, ecommerce technology or a related field.Demonstrated experience owning production tracking, data flows, integrations or platform operations in a complex digital environment.Hands-on experience working with Engineering or Product teams on web/app releases, SDKs, APIs, tags or event instrumentation.Experience with ecommerce, retail, loyalty or multi-brand/multi-market operations is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, analytics, information systems, marketing technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Technical & Functional SkillsStrong working knowledge of analytics and tag-management concepts; GA4, GTM, Firebase, Branch or comparable tools are relevant examples.Understanding of event schemas, data layers, identity signals, APIs, JSON, batch/real-time data flows, catalog/product feeds and system integrations.Ability to use debugging, validation and monitoring methods to isolate tracking or data-quality issues.Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, SQL or API testing is advantageous.Strong requirements definition, acceptance criteria, UAT, incident management, root-cause analysis and technical documentation skills.Clear stakeholder management with the confidence to challenge delivery plans and drive decisions.Leadership Capabilities & BehaviorsActs as an owner and problem-solver, not only a coordinator.Balances urgency with disciplined change control and operational integrity.Brings structure and clarity to ambiguous technical issues.Communicates impact, risk and decisions simply to technical and non-technical audiences.Builds trust through transparency, follow-through and evidence-based reporting.About us -CSi (Customer Strategy Intelligence)CSi is a newly established strategic business unit within Landmark Group, bringing together the organization's most critical growth-driving capabilities into one integrated engine.
