For over 50 years, we have delivered reliable end-to-end design, supply chain, and engineering solutions to top-tier international brands, combining our deep industry expertise with operational excellence across our regional footprint.As part of the Celestica group, this role offers the unique opportunity to work within a close-knit, agile business environment while enjoying the global stability, reach, and network of a world-class technology leader.Location: Malaysia Responsibilities:Accountable for delivering competitive material pricing solutions to support growth and margins as per company objectives.Collaborate with global customer unit, customer, program management, business proposal lead, finance, and/or sales to determine material pricing strategy.Align on trade-offs between proposal cycle-time, solution precision, and scope with clients to deliver an agreed to price strategy.Project manage supply chain solutions with commodity management, costing teams, and engineering teams to deliver desired pricing and margin solutions.Prepares material pricing solutions for new business opportunities (bids) and manages ongoing pricing through the lifecycle of the product (re-pricing) including generation of Bill of Material, cost competitive analysis, and margin recommendations.Provide insight and recommendations to support external (customers or suppliers) negotiations.Presents proposed solution to key stakeholders.Perform take-down trends analysis and modelling to leverage insight in service requests.Conduct market research and generate product teardowns to enable competitiveness assessments in service requests.Proactively drive continuous improvement in margin expansion, cycle time, pricing competitiveness, pricing tactics, and process efficiency.Requirements:Possesses a Degree in Engineering or a relevant field of studyAt least 8 years of relevant working experience in an EMS or MNC environmentExperienced in cost analysis, material pricing, and sourcing strategyPossesses good supply base knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical commodities such as plastics, cables, connectors, modules, PCBs, etc.Proven experience in successful VA/VE proposalsKnowledge of SAP is an added advantageFamiliarity with Microsoft Office is a prerequisitePossesses strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiateA self-confident individual, able to work independently with minimal supervisionWhy Join Us?At PCI, We Grow Together.
