With operations in the UAE, Qatar, India, China, Bahrain, and Oman, the group provides a dynamic, multicultural work environment and growth opportunities for retail professionals.Role Description The Manager – Minimart will oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning, strong customer service, and achievement of sales and profitability targets. Responsibilities include managing staff schedules and performance, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating orders and deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of stock, sales, and cash handling. The role will also focus on merchandising, store layout, hygiene and safety standards, and implementation of promotions and pricing strategies in line with company policies. The Manager will analyze store performance, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with senior management to improve processes and customer experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.Qualifications Proven experience in retail or supermarket management, including staff supervision and day-to-day store operations.Strong skills in inventory control, merchandising, and basic retail analytics to support sales and profitability goals.Ability to manage cash handling procedures, reconcile sales reports, and maintain accurate documentation.Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.Knowledge of FMCG retail practices, local market trends, and health, safety, and hygiene standards in a minimart environment.Proficiency in using POS systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word) for reporting and store administration.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational issues.Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred; comparable experience will be considered.Previous experience in the GCC region and familiarity with Dubai regulations and compliance requirements are an advantage.
