PREMIER BRANDS GROUP HOLDINGSIconic by Nature, Exceptional by DesignPremier Brands Group Holdings is driven by excellence and innovative talent, Premier Brands Group is a leading, global apparel group of iconic brands, offering a diverse portfolio in denim, women’s apparel, and jewelry.Premier Brands Group is comprised of three distinct businesses that create top-tier brands for the discerning consumer.An apparel industry leader for 30+ years, The Kasper Group has remained committed to excellence in offering iconic brands and relevant womenswear designs.Work with and cultivate relationships with all cross functional teams (sales, planning, tech, fabric, design/product development, overseas vendors/factory agents and offices)Manage the activities of the production team adjusting to changing prioritiesManage production, negotiate critical dates for time and action, and approval process for each styleMonitor and adhere to the established Time and Action CalendarDaily communication with overseas and internal departments to resolve issues that could affect deliveriesIdentify opportunities to enhance efficiencies in the production departmentAddress logistical concerns with internal departments and overseas office, vendors, agentsKeep senior production team updated on issues that could impact quality and or deliveryCommunicate with all internal and external departments on issues that could affect production calendarPartner with sales regarding delivery extensions as neededProvide guidance and leadership to production associatesAssess and communicate core job responsibilities to direct reportsMentor associates to enhance their growthManage production, negotiate critical dates for time and action, and approval process for each styleCreate memos on shortages and overagesResolve and coordinate production issues by communicating with design, Sales, and Tech DesignMonitor weekly WIP reports from factories /vendorsReview and approve shipment extensions.Approve vessel bookings with Import departmentTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor’s Degree Required.5 + years of previous related work experience (manager)10+ years of previous related work experience (director)Experience working in retail/manufacturing industryUnderstand ladies apparel ProductKnowledge of ERP systems similar to RLM/SAP and PLM knowledgeStrong sourcing, negotiation, analytical and organizationalStrong project management skillsAbility to multi task and prioritize Working knowledge of the production process from development through finished goods at warehouse.MS Excel and Outlook proficiency requiredWe are an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.
