This position oversees the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor identification, negotiation of pricing and terms, and placement of purchase orders for raw materials, components, and services. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, aligning purchasing activities with production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The Manager of Purchasing will develop and maintain supplier relationships, assess vendor performance, and implement cost-saving and quality-improvement initiatives. This role also collaborates closely with production, finance, and quality teams, prepares regular purchasing reports, and enforces compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in purchasing or procurement management within manufacturing or industrial environments.Strong skills in supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms.Proficiency in inventory management, demand planning, and coordination with production teams.Ability to analyze purchasing data, prepare budgets, and track key performance indicators for procurement activities.Familiarity with ERP or procurement software and general proficiency with spreadsheets and business documentation tools.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in documentation.Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.Understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements, and safety practices relevant to electrical/electronic manufacturing.Capability to lead and develop a purchasing team, promote ethical sourcing practices, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
