Manager of Supply Chain & Logistics

We are seeking a hands?on Logistics Manager to lead shipping, warehouse, and distribution operations in a fast?paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and on?time delivery of finished goods while overseeing a 24/7 logistics team.Location: Richmond, VASalary: $110-$120K DOEQualifications4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) Experience leading teams in warehouse, shipping, or logistics operations Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality assurance experience preferred Excellent communication and cross?functional collaboration skills Ability to prioritize and resolve issues in a high?pressure environment Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word) PreferredBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field Experience with freight management and carrier negotiations Exposure to capital equipment and maintenance coordination Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a multi?shift logistics team focused on safety, performance, and continuous improvement Manage ERP system transactions for shipping, receiving, and inventory movements Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment and customer deliveries Partner cross?functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations to support production and scheduling Oversee material handling equipment, including maintenance, safety, and capital decisions Manage freight execution, carrier relationships, and transportation costs Serve as escalation point for shipment issues, invoicing discrepancies, and expedited requests Support quality, safety, and lean initiatives across logistics operations If you are looking for a company where you can make a great impact and be part of something special. apply today!Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
