More information is available here .We encourage you to explore the possibilities that a career at State Street can offer you.State Street is committed to embracing diversity and inclusion in the workplace.Job DescriptionJob Description Maintains relationship with employee communications to ensure consistency of messaging across the organisation with a focus on embedding cultural change and a tone from the top that fosters a positive risk culture based on an environment of constructive challenge Supports the business and control functions plans in regard to regulatory obligations, thematic reviews, remediation commitments etc. Drives implementation of a program to reinforce corporate culture within and across the businesses Develops reporting regularly for the Head of the OCCG to deliver to corporate and regional committees including the UK Executive Committee so that they can discharge their responsibilities Develops and manages large, complex projects with cross functional, cross jurisdictional, and cross organisational impacts Participates in on-going review and improvement of governance structure to promote effectiveness and efficiency Stays current on legislative changes and regulatory agenda to anticipate business impacts and pro-actively engage with the business on potential impacts/opportunities to preserve the firm’s reputation and good standing Implements regulatory and ad hoc deliverables through identification of all stakeholders and establishment of internal and joint meetings to support Supports workstream participants as they deliver on project milestones Brings stakeholders together to participate in the dialogue, decision making, problem solving and implementation of complex projects Demonstrates understanding of the impact of issues on the organisation as a whole, looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications, and facilitates collaboration to achieve resolution Anticipates stakeholders’ needs and works to ensure they are met or managed Liaises with colleagues within SSC UK offices and divisions globally where required Performs work independently within scope of established guidelines and according to specific procedures. Provide Subject Matter expertise for OCCG-related matters QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in financial services Knowledge of financial securities markets, language and products Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, and spread sheet proficiency Excellent leadership and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written form Strong writing, communication and presentation skills to audiences of different sizes and levels of seniority. Strong project orientation with the ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organisation Ability to multi-task, and work under high pressure deadlines Ability to prioritise with flexibility to adjust to changing information Problem solving skills; ability to explain and present complex ideas, anticipate roadblocks and prepare case accordingly, influencing others Good team working skills. Must be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative in different circumstances and under pressure. Flexibility in working outside of your responsibilities and areas of expertise.
