Manager – Paints Division

Gemini Building Materials is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Manager – Paints Division to lead and grow our Paints business across the UAE.We are looking for someone who understands the UAE paints and coatings market inside out — someone with strong industry connections, solid experience in dealer and project sales, and the ability to take complete ownership of the division’s growth and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Paints Division across the UAE and drive overall sales, revenue and profitability.Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for the division.Expand business across dealers, retailers, contractors, applicators, fit-out companies, developers and project customers.Develop strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors and other key decision-makers to generate project and specification opportunities.Identify new markets, customers, projects and sales channels across the UAE.Manage key accounts and develop long-term relationships with major customers.Monitor pricing, margins, discounts and commercial terms to ensure profitable growth.Lead, guide and monitor the performance of the Paints sales team.Set sales targets and regularly review individual and divisional performance.Maintain an active pipeline of projects and business opportunities and ensure effective follow-up and conversion.Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and new product developments.Work closely with suppliers/principals on product positioning, promotions, technical support and market development.Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Finance and Branch Operations to ensure product availability and smooth customer service.Prepare periodic sales forecasts, budgets, market analysis and management reports.Ensure effective credit control and collection follow-up within the division.Candidate ProfileMinimum 8–10 years of experience in the Paints & Coatings industry, with significant experience in the UAE market.Previous experience in a Sales Manager / Division Manager / Business Development Manager role within paints, coatings or a closely related sector.Strong knowledge of decorative paints, protective coatings and related paint products.Proven experience in both channel/dealer sales and project sales.Strong existing network within the UAE paints, building materials and construction industry.Good understanding of the UAE construction project cycle and specification business.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing profitable business.Strong leadership, commercial negotiation and team-management capabilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
