Overall Purpose of the JobTo support the CEO in driving digital enablement and process improvement across Business Unit, with initial focus on AI-enabled operational improvement within Department. The role bridges operations, process, data, technology and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, strengthen process and data readiness, coordinate practical digital and AI initiatives, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, asset utilisation, reliability and business performance.Principle DutiesLead end-to-end process mapping and diagnostic reviews within department to understand current workflows, interfaces, decision points, recurring issues and improvement opportunities.Identify process inefficiencies, duplicated activities, manual work, control or interface gaps, and opportunities for simplification, automation and better decision-making.Assess data availability, quality, ownership and readiness, and work with relevant functions to establish reliable information required for analytics, digital tools and AI-enabled use cases.Translate operational and business pain points into practical digital or AI-enabled improvement use cases, with clear objectives, expected benefits, data requirements, feasibility and priorities.Coordinate cross-functional pilots and implementation with Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Asset, HSE, Commercial and other relevant stakeholders, while existing process owners retain accountability for their respective functions.Support user adoption and change implementation, including stakeholder engagement, feedback, process documentation, work instructions and standardisation of agreed improvements.Establish and track measurable benefits, including cost reduction or avoidance, equipment utilisation, rental optimisation, reporting productivity, process cycle time, operational reliability and margin improvement.Apply structured improvement methods such as root-cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, risk assessment and trend analysis to address recurring operational and process issues and verify improvement effectiveness.Develop management dashboards, progress updates and recommendations for the CEO, highlighting business value, implementation status, key risks and matters requiring cross-functional or management intervention.Capture lessons learned and support the scaling of successful digital and process-improvement practices to other priority areas within Business Unit, as directed by the CEO.Knowledge/Experience Required for the JobMinimum 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably within the oil & gas industry, with strong exposure to business process improvement, management systems, operational assurance, service quality, governance or cross-functional improvement initiatives.Experience in both OGSE/service-company and E&P/operator environments would be an advantage, with the ability to understand operational and support-function interfaces.Strong practical knowledge of process mapping, root-cause analysis, CAPA, risk assessment, FMEA, audit and continual-improvement methodologies.Demonstrated ability to analyse recurring issues, operational performance, process effectiveness and management information, and convert findings into practical improvement actions.Good digital and data literacy, including Microsoft Office, Power BI or similar analytical tools. Exposure to AI, analytics, digitalisation, automation or technology-enabled process improvement would be an advantage.Experience coordinating cross-functional improvement initiatives and supporting adoption of new processes, systems or ways of working.Strong stakeholder-management, facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, engage senior management and challenge existing processes constructively while maintaining effective working relationships.Results-oriented and able to link improvement initiatives to measurable operational, financial and business outcomes.Academic/Professional QualificationBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, QHSE, Engineering, Operations or a related discipline.Professional certification or formal training in ISO Management Systems, API Spec Q2, QHSE, auditing, process improvement or related disciplines is preferred.Lead Auditor, management-system practitioner, Safety & Health or equivalent professional credentials would be an advantage.Formal AI or software-development qualification is not mandatory; practical exposure to digital, analytics or AI-enabled business improvement is an advantage.
