Manager (Programmes)

TF’s programmes, made possible through philanthropic endowments gifted by Temasek, strive to achieve positive outcomes for individuals and communities now, and for generations to come.We are seeking motivated and adaptable individuals with aspirations for a career in philanthropy to join TF under a development programme. The role provides broad exposure to the organisation’s core activity in programmes development. Successful candidates will learn about TF’s impact areas. Through deployment across different impact teams, candidates will learn on the job, contributing to ongoing initiatives. They will work with colleagues across functions, and gain practical experience in areas such as programme development and implementation, partnerships, strategy, impact measurement and corporate functions. RESPONSIBILITIESThe candidates will rotate across at least 2 impact teams within TF during the first year before being assigned to a specific team. Responsibilities will vary according to each rotation and may include the following:Programme & Project Supporta. Support the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of programmes, projects and initiatives.b. Conduct research and analysis to support programme development, planning and decision-making.c. Assist in tracking programme progress, outcomes and impact, including the preparation of reports and presentations.Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagementa. Support engagement and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including programme partners and other organisations.b. Assist in the planning and coordination of meetings, events, stakeholder engagements and other programme-related activities.Strategy & Organisational Exposurea. Support strategic planning, research, impact measurement and other organisation-wide initiatives, where relevant.b. Work with different teams to understand their functions and priorities, and how their work contributes to TF’s broader objectives.c. Participate in cross-functional projects and assignments to gain exposure to different areas of the organisation.Learning & Developmenta. Participate actively in structured rotations across different teams and take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities.b. Apply learning from each rotation to subsequent assignments and develop a broad understanding of TF’s programmes, operations and organisational priorities.c. Take on other duties and assignments as required during the rotations.REQUIREMENTSa. Degree in any discipline. Fresh graduates and candidates with some relevant working experience may apply.b. Strong interest in social impact, philanthropy and the work of Temasek Foundation.c. Good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to different work environments.d. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.e. A collaborative and positive team player who is willing to take on different assignments and responsibilities.f. Self-motivated, curious and open to learning, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and functions.
