Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Summary: The Manager - FM Projects is responsible for centralizing, managing, and governing all Facilities Management projects, customer-requested works, AMC variations, lifecycle replacement projects, and value-added initiatives across the FM portfolio.The role serves as the single point of coordination between operations teams, customers, contractors, vendors, and support functions to ensure all project and variation work is properly scoped, estimated, approved, executed, monitored, and reported.The position will establish a structured project governance framework, provide portfolio visibility to the Head of FM, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and customer requirements.Key Accountabilities: Centralize and manage all Facilities Management projects, customer-requested works, AMC variations, lifecycle replacements, and improvement initiatives across the portfolio.Act as the single point of coordination between FM Operations, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal support functions for all project-related activities.Review, assess, and define project scopes, technical requirements, budgets, timelines, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects and variation works from initiation, estimation, approval, execution, monitoring, and final handover.Develop and maintain a consolidated projects and variations pipeline, providing visibility of status, risks, priorities, and financial performance.Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals, quotations, variation orders, and business cases in line with contractual and customer requirements.Monitor project progress against agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements, ensuring corrective actions are implemented when required.Drive customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective communication, timely updates, and high levels of customer satisfaction.Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, operational constraints, and stakeholder issues that may impact delivery performance.Track project revenues, costs, profitability, and variation opportunities, supporting business growth and achievement of financial targets.Establish governance, reporting, and performance management frameworks, including project dashboards, KPIs, and monthly portfolio reports for the Head of FM.Lead continuous improvement initiatives by standardizing project delivery processes, enhancing efficiency, and identifying opportunities for innovation and value creation.Education, Experience & Skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.Minimum: 5 years managing FM projects, lifecycle replacements, fit-outs, or maintenance-related projects.Experience handling customer variations, contract management, and commercial aspects within an FM environment.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across different sites.
