The company’s mission centers on empowering sustainable farming and contributing to the long-term resilience of Pakistan’s agricultural sector.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore for a Manager Research and Development and Regulatory Affairs. The role involves leading R&D projects for new and existing agrochemical products, from concept and formulation through testing and technical documentation. The manager will oversee laboratory and field trials, ensure data integrity, and translate research outcomes into practical product improvements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing regulatory dossiers, managing compliance with national and international agrochemical regulations, and liaising with regulatory authorities and certification bodies. The position also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, marketing, and sales to support product launches, address technical queries, and provide training on regulatory and technical aspects. The manager will mentor R&D staff, optimize processes, and contribute to long-term innovation strategies aligned with sustainable farming goals.Qualifications Strong background in agrochemicals, agronomy, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline, with experience in product formulation and development.Proven expertise in research design, experimental planning, data analysis, and interpretation of laboratory and field trial results.Demonstrated ability to manage regulatory affairs, including preparing registration dossiers, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and coordinating with regulatory agencies.Experience in quality and safety standards relevant to agrochemicals, including familiarity with GLP, environmental impact assessments, and risk management practices.Effective project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting, regulatory documentation, and internal and external stakeholder communication.Leadership capabilities, including team supervision, coaching, performance management, and fostering a collaborative research environment.Proficiency in using scientific and office software tools for data analysis, documentation, and reporting.Master’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in regulatory affairs are an advantage.Previous experience in the agrochemical industry or a closely related sector is preferred, especially in roles combining R&D and regulatory responsibilities.
