Location: San Francisco, CAEmployment Type: Full-timeWork Setting: OnsiteSalary: $191,000–$215,000/yearJOB DESCRIPTIONThis position is responsible for managing teams in the provision of respiratory care services; identifying external developments in respiratory equipment and providing innovative solutions to meet patient needs; developing, implementing, and monitoring respiratory care goals and objectives and pulmonary standards; and overseeing respiratory care services across multiple sites and/or a single site.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage designated work units or teams and translate business plans into tactical action items.Develop team members through coaching, training, feedback, and performance management.Implement clinical standards, protocols, and evidence-based practices to improve workflow efficiencies and patient outcomes.Oversee respiratory care services and ensure teams have the necessary resources, training, and support.Identify opportunities for improvement and address operational challenges.Foster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within teams.Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and support quality improvement initiatives.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of experience in respiratory therapy or a directly related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role.Minimum 3 years of inpatient Respiratory Therapy management experience in a hospital environment.Inpatient adult and Level 3 NICU experience.Recent experience working in a union environment.California Respiratory Care Practitioner License required at hire.Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate required at hire.Basic Life Support required at hire.COMPENSATION$191,000–$215,000/year
