We believe in making Great Moments for Everyone, Every day.JOB TITLEManager - Social Compliance | MAF Retail | Corporate Head OfficeROLE SUMMARYThe Manager, Social Compliance is responsible for establishing and maintaining a risk-based social compliance and human rights framework across retail operations and third-party suppliers. The role ensures compliance with human rights standards, responsible sourcing practices, labor regulations, and supplier governance while driving assessments, investigations, stakeholder engagement, training, and reporting across multiple geographies.ROLE PROFILEConduct social compliance risk assessments and manage supplier risk registers.Lead supplier Pre-Qualification Assessments (PQAs) and compliance monitoring activities.Ensure compliance with Human Rights Policy, supplier code of conduct, and ethical recruitment standards.Manage corrective action plans (CAPs) and monitor remediation progress.Conduct worker interviews and support grievance investigations and remediation.Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Sustainability, Operations, Risk, and HR teams.Develop and deliver social compliance training, awareness programs, and supplier forums.Prepare management reports, annual social performance reports, and adverse media monitoring updates.REQUIREMENTSMinimum 2 years of experience in Human Rights Compliance, Social Compliance, Occupational Health & Safety, or related compliance functions.Bachelor's degree with certifications such as SA8000, APSCA, ISO 45001, SMETA, or Sedex preferred.Strong knowledge of UN Guiding Principles (UNGPs), ILO Conventions, Employer Pays Principle, and social compliance frameworks.Experience in risk assessment, supplier audits, investigations, and corrective action management.Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and reporting skills.Fluent English communication skills; Hindi/Urdu speaking ability is an advantage, with the ability to manage multiple projects across different geographies.WHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
