QNS Global Group is looking for Manager/Sr. Manager - Shipping OperationJob Description / ResponsibilityDrive strategic priorities and targets of Shipping Logistics business through continuous improvement in operational processes.Monitor operational activities and ensure timely departure and release of cargo/containers from port avoiding demurrage charges and productivity objectives meet company standard.Lead overall processing of shipment documentation and ensure seamless release of shipments from port to customers.Supervise and execute all necessary tasks related to mother Vessel, prepare plan for discharging operation.Timely correspond with Principal regarding mother Vessel and relevant issues.Organize Mother Vessel's cargo receipt all necessary permission at port & custom and shipping permission and monitor.Coordinate & correspond with Chittagong Port Director Traffic, DPA, APA, CPA, Port Harbor Master, Customs, Chittagong Port Radio section, VTMI, Deputy Conservator, Port High officials etc. about all permission, NCT berth/J berth and emergency needs.Correspond with Charterer and Consignee for cargo delivery from vessel.Coordinate with Master of Mother vessel, on board team for loading, unloading updated and Logistic shipment handle, like cargo barge measurement and loading & delivery to consignee side.Prepare statement of full report and coordinate with Marine surveyor for survey report.Educational RequirementsBachelor/HonorsSkills Required: Operation, Reporting and Documentation, Shipping Operation, Shipping LogisticExperience RequirementsAt least 8 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping, Port ServiceAdditional Requirements2-3 years in a managerial position on shipping trade with business/ commercial responsibility.In-depth knowledge in logistics and shipping documentation.Strong leadership capabilities and problem-solving skills.Good knowledge of Shipping Line products and services.Maintain external and internal customer relationships & good communication skills.Job LocationChattogramSalaryTk. 60000 (Monthly)
