Manager – Strategic Finance & Investments

Peergrowth is hiring on behalf of a rapidly growing natural resources and industrial investment group with operations across 11+ countries in Africa. The group has investments across mining, metals, critical minerals, minerals processing, energy, infrastructure, and industrial development.We are seeking a hands-on finance professional to support strategic investments, acquisitions, financial modelling, valuations, and project financing, working closely with senior leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild integrated financial, project finance, and operating models from scratch.Conduct DCF, NPV, IRR, valuation, sensitivity, and scenario analysis.Evaluate acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investment opportunities.Support M&A transactions, financial due diligence, deal structuring, and transaction execution.Prepare Investment Memorandums, Board Papers, Investment Committee papers, and lender presentations.Support financing discussions with banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), export credit agencies (ECAs), and investors.Review feasibility studies, technical reports, and project operating assumptions.Monitor portfolio performance and identify value creation opportunities.Requirements8–15 years of experience in Strategic Finance, Project Finance, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Infrastructure Investments, or Transaction Advisory.Strong hands-on financial modelling and valuation experience.Proven exposure to M&A transactions and/or project financing.Experience preparing Investment Memorandums and presenting investment recommendations to senior stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.CFA, CA, ACCA, CPA, or MBA preferred.Preferred Industry ExperienceMining and metalsCritical minerals and mineral processingEnergy and renewable energyInfrastructure and industrial investmentsNatural resources and commoditiesEmerging markets, particularly Africa
